In June of 2005, responding to increased growth in our Seminary, the church called Bro. Scott Brooks to serve as
instructor in the seminary and assistant to Bro. Hoppert and Bro. Wayne Marler. In June of 2007, following the
relocation of Bro. Marler as missionary to Jackson, Michigan, the church called Bro. Brooks as our Associate
Pastor.

Bro. Brooks holds the following degrees from the Missionary Baptist Seminary in Little Rock, Arkansas: Bachelor
of Bible Languages (1995), Master in Bible Languages (2003), and Master in Theology (2003).

In September of 2008, after completing all appropriate requirements, and after the successful defense of his
Doctoral Thesis, Bro. Brooks was awarded the Doctor of Theology degree by the Tulare Missionary Baptist
Seminary.

Prior to coming to Tulare, Bro. Brooks was pastor of Big Creek Missionary Baptist Church in Malvern, Arkansas,
from October of 2001, to July of 2005. Bro. Brooks had been formerly the pastor of Pine Top Missionary Baptist
Church in Broken Bow, Oklahoma, from August of 1995, to September of 2001.

The addition of Bro. Brooks to the staff of the Church and the Seminary has been of tremendous value. His
excellent understanding of the Word of God and his ability to communicate that knowledge to students of the
Bible is invaluable.
